Search and Call Committee

Our pastor, W. F. Terry Reister, has decided to retire after 25 years with Hyattstown Christian Church. We have been blessed by his leadership for so long and we will truly miss him.

The church has established a search and call committee that has an excellent mix of members that represent our congregation.  As its first act, they ask that each family fill out the following survey.  This survey will help them put together a congregational profile in order to select the right pastor for our church.  There are two forms - one in Microsoft Word that can be downloaded, filled out, saved, and printed for return to Beth Sweeney or any member of the committee.  The form can also be e-mailed to hccsearch@verizon.net.  The other form is in pdf format and requires Adobe Reader to view and print.   The deadline for filling out the form and returning it to the committee is April 13, 2008.

Celebration Information

Pastor Terry will retire after the church services on July 27, 2008.  We will have a pot luck lunch with him that day.  A larger gathering to celebrate Terry's ministry and dedication to his calling will be held at the Urbana Fire Hall on Sunday, July 13, at 1 PM.  Please contact Debbie Flook for all the details.
