Rev. Lisa Kay Comingore Smith and other Staff

Lisa Kay Comingore Smith holds a MDiv from Lexington Theological Seminary (1990) and a BS from Centre College, Danville, KY (1980). Lisa was ordained in the Disciples of Christ church, Kentucky region, May 20, 1990. She and Steven Smith married in 1987. They have a son David, age 11.

Lisa served as an associate pastor for two years after seminary. Beginning in 1993, Lisa has served 4 terms as a missionary in the former GDR (East Germany). Steven has served with her in her missionary capacity and has taught (English and German) in Germany. He has created Lay leadership development programs for multiple groups in Germany. He's also written many articles and protocols for Ecumenical councils and groups.

The Hyattstown Christian Church family is excited to welcome Rev. Lisa, Steven, and David to our community and family. We will provide more updates on Rev. Lisa's work in her calling to us.

We are so lucky to have Barbara Lang as our organist. She also brings her beautiful singing voice to the choir as well.
